History

What began as a project turned into a nonprofit organization, fostering the future of Kootenai County

Many pioneering endeavors begin with a simple idea. In 2013, what would become CDA 2030 began in much the same way when a group of citizens came together with an idea to ask the community about its vision for Kootenai county over the next 20 years. The input of thousands of citizens was incorporated into one cohesive vision that represented the citizens of Kootenai county’s shared dream for what our community should be for future generations.
