The community’s vision for Coeur d’Alene in the future not only includes a plan for its growth and development, it also directs efforts to ensure that the history and character of the heart of our region are preserved for generations to come. Sherman Avenue is one of those key attributes of our community, and as such, the CDA 2030 Implementation Plan emphasizes its preservation and revitalization. The “Visit East Sherman” promotional campaign is an example of collaboration among the businesses on East Sherman Avenue to encourage public awareness and appreciation of one of our city’s gems. The campaign includes a passport that incentivizes the public to visit businesses in the east gateway entrance to the city for prizes.
