East Sherman Revitalization

The community’s vision for Kootenai County in the future not only includes a plan for its growth and development, it also directs efforts to ensure that the history and character of the heart of our region are preserved for generations to come. Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s Sherman Avenue is one of those key attributes of our Coeur d’Alene community, and as such, the Connect Kootenai Implementation Plan emphasizes its preservation and revitalization. The “Visit East Sherman” promotional campaign is an example of collaboration among the businesses on East Sherman Avenue to encourage public awareness and appreciation of one of our city’s gems. The campaign includes a passport that incentivizes the public to visit businesses in the east gateway entrance to the city for prizes.
